Pika is the third track off Mutations. It could be characterized as the ugly duckling of the album, in that its sound is very different from the rest of the album, characterized by heavy synth work, a straightforward Common time signature and Pop sensibility. Pika also appeared in its slightly more infantile stage as a bonus track of IDDQD's debut record 'The last year on earth' which further informs its different sound from the rest of the album

Pika follows the story of an astronaut in the near future, tasked with finding a new habitable planet for humans, as the corporations have made the earth inhabitable. As she traverses the visible universe, she finds herself struggling with the morality of facilitating the survival of a species that destroyed their home planet. Pika features Vocals from Jenna Ballarin.
